CLASS was proud to be invited by the National Copyright Administration of China (NCAC) and World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) to present at the prestigious 2024 International Forum on Copyright and Creative Industries for Sustainable Cultural and Economic Development.
Attended by many high-level officials from various organisations and enterprises globally, the forum was held from 9-10 September in Jingdezhen, People’s Republic of China. Mainly focusing on the intricacies between copyright and the dynamic growth of cultural and creative industries, the forum detailed the integral part that copyright plays in the preservation and adaption of traditional culture, facilitating cultural development, and the employment of artificial intelligence in content creation.
Our CEO, Mr Andrew Fong, was also present on hand to give a presentation on the ‘Collective Management of Copyright in the Era of Knowledge Economies’, sharing about the prospects and hurdles encountered in the CMO sector.
We send our warmest thanks once again to both the NCAC and WIPO for the invite, organisation and hospitality!
