Alban Kang, a director of CLASS, was invited to attend the inaugural Korea ASEAN Intellectual Property Conference in Seoul which was held from 12 -14 Nov. He was one of only two delegates from Singapore who was invited to attend the conference. Other attendees from ASEAN included lawyers, academics, government officials and industry representatives. The conference focus of various IP issues such as copyright, genetic resources and trade mark enforcement. Ambassadors from the various ASEAN countries also attended a reception with the delegates. The conference was a good opportunity to share knowledge and experience with other ASEAN members.
