The Copyright Licensing and Administration Society of Singapore (CLASS) held its 15th Annual Bursary Award at the Harbourfront Library on November 6th 2025. Awarding a further 35 local tertiary students over $95,000 in bursaries, CLASS continues to be an advocate for education, recognising the importance it plays in shaping a society rooted in intellectual collaboration and the many benefits it entails.
CLASS remains a firm believer that education should be made accessible to all, regardless of an individual’s background. Copyright contributes to such a vision, constantly enabling new content to be generated for the purposes of learning. As such, CLASS and its partners are proud to come together and assist students to overcome their financial challenges such that they might reach their fullest potential. It is as such that CLASS continues to be an advocate for empowering students to embrace their talents and succeeding in their academic journey, society will always be able to benefit through respect for copyright.
CLASS will continue in its endeavour to nurture students through its annual Bursary Award, so as to ensure students will have the opportunity to maximise their potential, overcome their adversities and succeed amidst their challenges in the process. We thank all those in attendance and look forward to awarding the next batch of recipients!
CLASS would also like to express its heartfelt gratitude to the NLB and IPOS for being gracious supporters of the event.
This year’s recipients were chosen by their respective institutions, including the National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore University of Technology and Design, Singapore Institute of Technology, Singapore University of Social Sciences, and the five polytechnics: Nanyang, Ngee Ann, Temasek, Singapore, and Republic.
